I recently did a fresh re-install on my mac, and Illustrator (CS3, 13.0.2) was working just fine. After I installed Scriptographer, I noticed that when ever I save a file that has a large linked photo in the document, Illustrator does this strange freeze, where I can still select tools from the tool bars and menu items, but cannot select anything in the layers palette or in the document itself.

I've also noticed that when I CMD+Tab out of Illustrator, and then back into Illustrator, the Scriptographer console will appear with random script errors (no documentation on what shows up at the moment; will post with results when they appear).

Don't know if the two are related or not, but thought I'd throw it out...

Thanks for any thoughts!

Details on my computer are as such:

I get something like this too! Except its whenever i save a file then pretty much everything becomes unavailable to select and i get one of those not happy squelchy noises. I thought this might be something to do with the fact my Illustrator is a cracked copy, but i reckon it will be scriptographer thing as ive had this problem on my pc with a legit illustrator

This is a Java issue on OSX 10.5 (Leopard), when running Java in headless mode. The error comes from somewhere deep down Apple's Java code. I am currently working on a fix for this.

It seems that both Google's GWT and Adobe's Air are suffering from the same issue:

I figured the problem was a result of upgrading to 10.5.
Thanks for looking into this.

hi Jürg,
i'm having unfortunately the same issue here on leopard. i was on pc before without any problems.
it would be awesome if there would be a fix, because i think that scriptographer is the cooles plugin around for illustrator. keep up the good work.
cheers
